MOSAIC GLASS ART APPLICATIONS

MOSAIC GLASS ART APPLICATIONS

Mosaic glass art is a new form of artistic expression that can be used across a variety of applications. From backsplashes to counters, to walls and floors, to art panels and architectural structures, mosaic glass art applications are a one-of-a-kind element to any space...indoor or out.

WHAT EXACTLY IS MOSAIC ART?

Small cubic pieces of Bohemian glass, approximately .20" or 5 mm square, are combined together like pixels in a digital image, faithfully reproducing any picture in a mosaic with accuracy and resolution. Each piece of glass is colored throughout, not just on the surface, which means the color will remain unaltered over time regardless of lighting, temperature, or humidity.

A VISUAL EXPERIENCE...

Up close to a mosaic, you will appreciate each individual glass pixel. As you move farther away from it, the image gets sharper and sharper revealing it in its entirety...like the photograph or picture it was designed from. This experience makes us rethink the whole idea of classic mosaics.

ORIGIN:

Bohemian glass is the name given to glass manufactured in the regions of Bohemia and Silesia, belonging to the Czech Republic and Poland. It dates back to the late 16th century when this exceptional glass was first produced although it was not until the Baroque period that its fame spread throughout the world. Currently, Bohemian glass refinement and perfect finish have made it the epitome of good taste.
